In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, SBU publishes its annual Security and Fire Safety Report by Dec. 31 every year.

All vehicles operated or parked on university property must display a current SBU parking permit and must abide by SBU's Motor Vehicle Regulations.
All SBU students and employees are automatically enrolled in the SBU Alert program to receive emergency notifications sent to your SBU email address. To add a cell phone number to receive text messages, you will need to click on the SBU Alert link in the Applications tab of the MySBU portal to manage your alert account.
